Next up in the DataHaven Partner Spotlight Series is a partner that has defined privacy onchain from day one: Secret Network. Together, Secret Network and DataHaven are enabling private, verifiable systems by combining confidential smart contract execution with tamper-proof, censorship-resistant storage.

Secret Network is a privacy-first blockchain that allows developers to build applications with programmable privacy through encrypted smart contracts, known as Secret Contracts. By default, inputs, outputs, and state are encrypted, allowing sensitive data to be used onchain without being publicly exposed. These capabilities are powered by trusted execution environments (TEEs), enabling confidential computation for applications that require privacy by design.

DataHaven complements this model by providing private, verifiable storage for the data that Secret Network applications depend on. Where Secret Network ensures computation happens confidentially, DataHaven ensures that data at rest is encrypted, tamper-proof, and provably intact over time. Together, the two systems form a complete privacy pipeline: confidential compute paired with verifiable memory.

“Secret Network pioneered programmable privacy onchain. DataHaven extends that privacy guarantee beyond compute and into long-term storage and data integrity. Together, we’re giving builders the primitives they need to build real-world applications where privacy, compliance, and verifiability actually matter.” ~ Ryan Levy, VP of Global BD & Partnerships, DataHaven

In the Wilderness

In the Haven, Secret Network is the shadow: present, powerful, and unseen. Data can move, logic can execute, and outcomes can be reached without exposing what should remain private.

But privacy without memory is fragile.

DataHaven preserves what Secret Contracts depend on: encrypted datasets, model inputs, execution artifacts, and results. Stored privately. Verified cryptographically. Available when proof is required.

Confidentiality protects use. Verifiability protects truth.

The Path Ahead

Secret Network’s mainnet is live today, providing confidential smart contracts and encrypted state for privacy-preserving applications.

DataHaven’s testnet is also live as a base verifiable storage platform, giving builders a way to anchor private data and execution outputs with cryptographic guarantees.

As DataHaven approaches mainnet, the integration deepens. Native workflows will allow Secret Contracts to commit data to DataHaven, verify integrity proofs, and support privacy-preserving audit and compliance flows. The result is an end-to-end privacy stack: encrypted storage, confidential compute, and verifiable guarantees throughout the data lifecycle.

The Bottom Line

Secret Network delivers confidential compute for applications that require privacy by default. DataHaven completes the stack by ensuring the underlying data is stored privately, preserved immutably, and proven correct over time.

Together, they remove a long-standing trade-off in decentralized systems: choosing between privacy and verifiability. For AI agents, financial applications, identity systems, healthcare data, and enterprise workflows, this partnership enables systems where sensitive data can be stored, computed on, and validated without being publicly revealed.

Privacy is not a feature. It is infrastructure.

The Bottom Line

By bringing AltLayer’s elastic rollups together with DataHaven’s verifiable storage, users and developers will have a one-stop shop for building verifiable applications, whether they’re shipping rollups, proofs, AI pipelines, or anything that demands trust at every layer.

AltLayer is a heavyweight in the rollups, x402, and AI space, and with this partnership, DataHaven becomes part of that broader story. This is what it looks like to play in the big leagues, contributing real infrastructure that powers real applications.
