Camp Haven is DataHaven’s official activation campaign. It’s also a major part of our commitment to allocating 50 percent of our token supply to our community and our product users. The camp was built for a few core reasons: to help you learn about decentralized data ownership, to stress-test our AI-focused storage platform, and to build a vibrant early community of contributors.
Put simply, taking part in Camp Haven is the main way to qualify for the upcoming DataHaven Airdrop. Think of it as your first step into the DataHaven ecosystem. The more you explore, create, and engage, the more XP you’ll earn and the bigger your share of the airdrop could be.
Under the Tents
Camp Haven is organized around a series of themed tents, each focusing on a different part of the experience. Quests are released in two batches each week to keep the rhythm lively while giving you the flexibility to explore at your own pace. Every activity you complete contributes to a single XP profile linked to your wallet, so make sure you use the same one throughout.
Vera’s Library: The Educational Hub
Vera the Owl, one of the DataHaven mascots, watches over the Haven’s only Library. She’s wise, patient, and sometimes a little sarcastic, but she knows her stuff. Here, you’ll move through a multi-week curriculum that introduces the network and the token:
- Foundations: Learn what DataHaven is, why it exists, and how the architecture works.
- Tokenomics: Understand $HAVE, including its utility, distribution, and economic model.
- AI & DePIN: Explore use cases for AI applications and decentralized infrastructure.
- Real-world assets: Learn how blockchain can represent physical assets like real estate, commodities, and intellectual property.

The Creative Cabin: For Artists and Creators
The Creative Cabin is your space to make, imagine, and express. Activities here let you earn XP while exploring your creativity across four tracks:
- Arts & crafts: Create digital or physical artwork inspired by Camp Haven.
- Scavenger hunt: Photography challenges that explore patterns in nature or hidden “doorways” in your surroundings.
- Writing: Write short stories, haikus, campfire songs, or fun scenes featuring DataHaven mascots.
- AI art: Use AI tools to make unique DataHaven-themed art.
Dexter’s Workshop: Hands-On Skills
The Workshop is where ideas meet practice. You’ll:
- Learn social skills: Build your online presence and master engagement strategies.
- Test the network: Claim testnet tokens, upload files, make transactions, and stress-test the network.
- Explore advanced features: Upload large files, report bugs, suggest features, and test integrations.
The Workshop gives you real, hands-on experience with blockchain technology.
Bruce’s Builder Bunkhouse: Developer Territory
If coding or technical contributions interest you, the Builder Bunkhouse is for you. Inside, you can:

This tent is optional for non-developers, but offers some of the highest XP rewards for those building on DataHaven.
The Tales Tent: Storytelling and Community
The Tales Tent is where the world of Camp Haven really comes alive. This is the storytelling hub of Camp: a place for character introductions, creative quests, and community-driven narratives.
You’ll meet the full cast of DataHaven’s mascots through weekly narrative blog posts. Each story reveals a new character (or pair), their role in the Haven world, and the values they represent.
After reading, you’ll take part in creative quests like:
- Character quizzes
- Choosing your personal totem animal
- Writing your camper origin story
- Creating short stories, illustrations, or comics inspired by the characters
- Engaging with and voting on community submissions
Through storytelling, you’ll form emotional connections with the mascots, understand the values behind the ecosystem, and help shape a shared sense of identity.
Fellowship Firepit: Explore the Ecosystem
The Firepit introduces campers to partner projects. You’ll complete quests, learn about other ecosystems, and engage with additional communities. This tent is perfect for those curious about the broader network.
Vesting Valley: Token Decisions
We know, we know: this is the tent that you’re really here for. Vesting Valley is where you learn about token distribution and choose a vesting path. Camp Haven offers eight options that combine different lock-up periods with corresponding rewards, ranging from shorter durations with lower rewards to longer lock-ups with higher rewards, with several balanced options in between.
Activities:
- Education: Learn what vesting means, understand the trade-offs between getting tokens immediately versus over time, and see how your choices affect your total rewards.
- Decision time: Make your vesting choice. This is critical and non-reversible, so pay close attention.
- Claiming: Tokens will be claimed through a dedicated website that isn’t live yet. Full instructions will be shared with campers when the time is right.
The Airdrop Mechanism: How Points Become Tokens
This section explains how your participation in Camp Haven translates into $HAVE tokens.
- (VERY IMPORTANT!) Wallets matter: It is critical to use the same wallet for all activities throughout Camp Haven. Interacting with the DataHaven product with different wallets will break your XP tracking, and you won’t get credit for your progress.
- Reward structure: By connecting your ETH wallet on camphaven.xyz, you will earn XP by completing quests in Zealy, Galxe, and directly within the DataHaven product. Along the way, you’ll find referral bonuses: 10 percent of all XP earned by anyone you refer, up to 10,000 XP. Badge bonuses also add XP, including recognition for being part of our partner community even before Camp Haven launched. Each holder badge is worth 1,000 XP, and there’s no limit to how many you can hold. Keep in mind, the snapshot of badge holders was taken prior to Camp Haven starting, so buying items now won’t give you extra XP.
- Anti-Sybil measures: Camp Haven is designed to reward genuine contributors. Automated or malicious activity will lead to disqualification. After the campaign ends, anyone found cheating or using automation to gain an unfair advantage will lose airdrop eligibility.
- Final Snapshot: Camp Haven is expected to conclude roughly two weeks before TGE. At that time, a final snapshot of participation metrics will be taken to determine airdrop eligibility. More details will be shared during the Camp Haven campaign, but until then, keep exploring, completing quests, and claiming your XP.
- Participation in Camp Haven, including all campaigns, quests, promotions, and airdrops, are subject to all applicable terms and conditions, including the Airdrop Terms and Conditions.
